We all want and need more #energy. Those of us that are lightworkers, #startseeds or #empaths especially need to #recharge and maintain good energy levels. Low physical energy levels generally originate in the stomach. A lot of us are walking around with high levels of candida or leaky gut which causes brain fog and fatigue not to mention can lead to chronic illness. So cleaning up your diet, staying away from foods you know you should avoid and eating lots of organic, low starch unprocessed foods is key to improving that. Then there is the #mentalfatigue that comes from over thinking, processing and to much time in front of TV's, computers and cellphones. Allow time to step away and engage in other forms of brain #stimuli like #reading, puzzles, games, coloring or creating will help to engage other parts of your brain that could be deteriorating and wasting away from stress and not enough #express. Then there is #soulexhaustion that comes from constantly giving to others and deflecting the constant input of energy from other beings is exhausting work. #evolving and awakening and working through all of our #karmic history can be very draining as well. #whew! I am exhausted just talking about it. To #replenish your #soul spend time in #nature, do something creative. #meditate and #breathe. This week I’m enjoying a loaf of homemade Buckwheat & Chia bread, recipe from @teresacutter_healthychef. . I love the quinoa bread but this Buckwheat bread turns out more bread like & holds together very well. So much so that it can easily be toasted in the toaster. . Lunch today was a green smoothie together with a couple of slices of this delicious bread, toasted & topped with avocado & saurkraut @kehoeskitchen. . Here’s the recipe: 1 3/4 cups whole raw buckwheat 1/4 cup) whole chia seed 1 cup water (use half to soak chia seeds and the other half to combine in the food processor or blender) ¼ cup olive oil (i used applesauce for oil free) 1 1/2 teaspoons gluten free baking powder 1/2 teaspoon sea salt METHOD Preheat oven to 160°C (fan-forced). Soak buckwheat in plenty of cold water for 2 hours until softened. Soak chia seed in 1/2 cup cold water until gel like – this takes about 30 minutes. Drain the buckwheat and rinse through a fine sieve. Make sure all the water is fully drained. Place the buckwheat into a food processor. Add chia gel, 1/2 cup of water, olive oil/applesauce, baking powder and sea salt. Mix in a food processor for 3 minutes. The bread mix should resemble a batter consistency with some whole buckwheat still left in the mix. Spoon into a loaf tin lined with baking paper on all sides and the base. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until firm to touch and bounces back when pressed with your fingers. Remove from the oven and cool for approx. 30 minutes. Remove from the tin and cool completely on a rack or board. The bread should be slightly moist in the middle and crisp on the outside. Finally went grocery shopping today cause we had zero food! Check my stories for my haul! Drew wanted Mac & cheese so the boys ate that and broccoli while I made a quick salad for myself. Organic romaine, broccoli slaw mix, feta, carrots, figs, leftover @applegate organic grass fed beef hot dog, balsamic, and avocado oil. Worked today so I so welcomed this quick dinner! EXTRA GOOEY RICE CRISPY TREATS ✨👀 - - using the cereal that you all know and love... the beautiful @onedegreeorganics !! I have had this vision of making rice crispy treat with this for a while because fun fact: I LOVED these as a kid. Starbucks always had the best rice crispy treats 👀 but of course, these are gluten free + vegan... and only 3 ingredients! I teased these on my story today and you all were so excited... and I’m excited to share! 🤩 - - dEATS: 4 cups @onedegreeorganics brown rice cacao crisps 1/4 cup coconut oil 1.5 packages of @mydandies v/gf marshmallows - - METHOD: 1. Using a double broiler, melt coconut oil (a little less than 1/4 cup). add in 22 dandies marshmallows and stir often. I alternated with a wooden spoon + a fork to make sure they didn’t have kinks + were full melted. ngl, you’ll be here for a couple minutes 😂 I found that adding 1/3 cup water was SO helpful in melting them 2. Once melted, take off the stove and measure 4 cups @onedegreeorganics and pour on top. Stir everything together until even 3. line your own with parchment paper- I used I believe a 9x9 Pyrex but these also turned out THICC. use a larger one if you please :) 4. Pour mix into the pan and make sure it’s even! Put the pan in the fridge to cool. - - OPTIONAL: marshmallow fluff topping 1. Using a double broiler again, heat 1 tbsp coconut oil + 1/3 cup water. Repeat the process but using 12 marshmallows this time :) 2. Once melted, move quick while it’s still hot! pour on top of the rice crispy treats. I finished off by adding some @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips :)) - - ...& that’s it! This process took me about 20 minutes and no baking required. I am enjoying one as I post this + there are literally only a couple left 😭 these were a HIT at my house today - - tag me if you recreate, I’d love to see it!! xoxox #madebymorrea #ricecrispytreats #vegantreats #veganbaking

Eat fat, gain fat, right? For many decades, the traditional way to lose weight has been to subject oneself to a low-fat diet, yet current evidence suggests that, given the same caloric deficit and protein intake, low-fat and low-carb diets produce similar weight losses. Moreover, while low-fat diets are not inherently unhealthy, shunning all fat from your diet can be dangerous, since your body needs to consume at least some omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. As for saturated fat being the main driver of cardiovascular disease: yes, just another myth. At the end of the day, trans fat is the only kind of fat that has been shown to be categorically detrimental to health — a little won’t kill you, but it will do harm. The Truth: If you stay in a caloric surplus, a low-fat diet won’t make you lose weight. Quantas vezes você foi questionado sobre como estava sendo o desempenho e a adaptação ao treino? Quantas vezes você foi corrigido na academia e se sentiu assistido? A corrida pelo sucesso dentro das academias têm prejudicado um grande público, o CLIENTE! Pessoas estão saindo das academias e buscando estúdios, simplesmente pela atenção, pela qualidade de atendimento. O cliente paga, e quer receber um serviço bem feito em troca, mas não é o que está acontecendo. O profissional de educação física espera que o cliente o contrate para demonstrar suas habilidades, e isso nunca acontece! Como você contrata um serviço que você não conhece e nunca ouviu falar? Tenho recebido muitos clientes novos nessas ultimas semanas, e eu fico triste em saber que essa realidade se repete em várias academias. Para os profissionais eu sugiro repensar sobre o profissionalismo, proatividade e prestatividade. Já para os clientes, eu sugiro que dêem uma chance para os nossos profissionais.
