Ok, so there's no way to make this pretty. But it was definitely yummy! AND spicy! 🌶 . 1 point soup/stew/stoop(?) with 3 points worth of air fried @latapatiatortillas (which is two full sized tortillas btw, woop!) 🌮 . I could have used corn chips but I really like being able to control my ingredients (like random vegetable oils) so I can splurge on other stuff with weird ingredients like velveeta cheese on my burgers. 😂 I'm no purist, I just try to moderate things that cause inflammatory response in my body. 👍 . Their original corn tortillas only contain 3 ingredients and I can easily recognize & pronounce them all.😉 Also, they taste like CORN as they should. #tortillasnob 😂 . Ok back to the soup. 🥘 . In a blender, pulse 1/2 yellow onion, 1 bell pepper & 2 cand of rotel. We use the hot one. It's hot. Like, hot. Use what you like.🌶 . In a large saucepan, cook one package 99% ground turkey. Add your veggie puree. Add 1 carton FF chicken broth. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin & chili powder to your preference. 🌶 . Now 3 or 4 ca s of your fave beans. I like the organic pintos from Walmart, like a lot. 🥣 . I also added finely chopped kale because I needed to use it. 🌿 . Summer for 30 minutes. 🕤 . Top with FF greek yogurt, FF cheddar & fresh cilantro. Motley Pasta⠀ ⠀ ◼️ Ingredients⠀ Garlic - 5 cloves⠀ No-salt canned garbanzo beans - 250 grams⠀ No-salt canned diced tomatoes - 360 grams⠀ Kale - 270 grams⠀ Pasta (Whole-grain or GF) - 135 grams⠀ Capers - 3 tbsps⠀ Dried sage - 1 tsp + 2 pinches⠀ Dried oregano - 3/4 tsp⠀ Dried thyme - 1 tsp + 2 pinches⠀ ⠀ ◼️ Optional⠀ Olive oil - 2 tbsps + 2 tsps⠀ Salt & pepper - to taste⠀ ⠀ ◼️ Directions⠀ 1. Produce Prep: Mince the garlic. Rinse and drain the canned garbanzo beans. Rinse the kale and remove the woody stems. Then, roughly chop the kale leaves.⠀ ⠀ 2. Prepare the whole grain pasta according to cooking instructions on the box.⠀ ⠀ 3. In a large pan or wok, bring olive oil up to low heat and add garlic. (To make this recipe oil-free, substitute water for olive oil.) Cook for a minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant.⠀ ⠀ 4. Add canned diced tomatoes and allow to simmer on low heat, uncovered for 5 minutes. ⠀ ⠀ 5. Stir in the beans and remaining seasoning ingredients (capers, dried sage, dried thyme, dried oregano, and salt and pepper). Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.⠀ ⠀ 6. Then, stir in kale. Cook until kale is just wilted. More kale than you're used to? Quickly steam or dry sautee until wilted before mixing it in.⠀ ⠀ 7. We cure all day for that perfect sear _ If you descale and the score the fish skin you can make that skin extra crispy and edible (yes, fish skin holds some toxins, but if you don't eat it often why not enjoy the simple pleasures in life) _ Remember if you cure the fish, you don't have to salt that fish too much afterwards. The fish naturally holds in some of that salt, so under season with salt but definitely add the herbs!

🍫Whose a sucker for chocolate??🍫 ~Clean Ferrero Rochers~ These little rippers are by far my Favourite recipes from our program! Life is so much better when you can indulge every single day without the guilt! Ingredients: 1 cup roasted Hazelnuts 1⁄2 cup soaked dates 1-2 tbsp cocoa or raw cacao powder Small pinch salt Splash maple syrup, optional if you prefer a sweeter paste Plus: Approx 15-18 whole roasted hazelnuts for crunchy centre 1 cup crushed roasted hazelnuts for rolling 200g melted 70-85% chocolate for rolling Method: Remove skins by rubbing between a tea towel and discard. Pulse one cup of nuts in a food processor to a crushed consistency and set aside for rolling. Also set aside 18 whole nuts for the centre. Process remaining nuts until they form a paste- if you can do this while warm from the oven this helps, but it doesn’t have to be perfect. Add dates and cocoa and keep processing until as smooth as possible. Taste and adjust chocolate flavour if needed. Roll paste into balls, flatten and add hazelnut to the centre, and shape paste around it into a ball again. YOOOO I made dinner for my momma tonight and it was a 10/10; even she agreed! Homemade taco bell quesadillas! ALL YOU NEED: - your choice of tortillas - shredded chicken - light sour cream - low calorie queso - paprika - cayenne - cumin - garlic powder I made extra sauce since I’ll be making these throughout the rest of the week, but I combined 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp paprika, and just a shake of cayenne pepper and mixed it into 1/2-3/4 cup of light sour cream! It depends how much spice you like! I used one tbsp of sauce per tortilla, and then heated up the shredded chicken and queso in a skillet. Simply scoop the queso/chicken mixture into the sauced tortillas and then fold it over. I pressed down the folded quesadilla into the pan on medium heat until it got a little brown! Tried fathead pizza for the first time today! I couldn’t get a picture before my hubby grabbed his pieces! It was oh so yummy. I didn’t miss the regular crust at all! Recipe below👇 ——————— 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1 oz cream cheese 2 tablespoons 1 cup Almond Flour 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional) 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) Pre-heat oven to 450F. Add mozzarella and cream cheese to a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 45 seconds. Remove from microwave and add in egg, almond flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Mix with a spoon until well incorporated. Transfer dough onto a large piece of parchment paper and cover with another piece of parchment paper. Flatten out dough using a rolling pin to about ¼’’ thick. Remove parchment paper and shape with hands if desired. Transfer pizza on the parchment paper onto a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven (keep the oven on) and load your pizza however you like with all of your favorite sauces, cheese, and toppings. Bake pizza for another 5-8 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.

I was inspired by a post from @thewoodenskillet earlier this week that featured grilled sweet potato rounds and a mustard aioli. I created my own version of this Whole30-friendly plate as a starter while tonight’s dinner finished. . I used my handy-dandy mandolin to slice some sweet potatoes, which I tossed in 2 tablespoons of avocado oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. Once placed on a baking sheet, they went into a 400 degree F pre-heated oven to crisp up in about 30 minutes (flip about 20 minutes into the process). . For the aioli, I tossed a handful of ingredients into a bowl and whisked it together in minutes: 3/4 cup compliant mayonnaise (I used @primalkitchenfoods.) 2 cloves garlic, minced Zest and juice of 1/2 a lemon Pinch of salt Pinch of pepper . This batch makes more than enough to have leftovers. Fig, goat cheese and olive foccacia with hints of fresh zaatar.😍 This combination of flavours is out of this world. Sweetness from the caramelized figs; tangyiness from the oozing goat cheese, an aromatic bitterness from the zaatar, and a delicious sour note from the green olives. Divine. Swipe😍 Recipe: Makes 2 (25 x 32cm ) For the dough All purpose flour  5 cups  yeast 1 tbsp fine sea salt 1 tsp Sugar 2 tsp water, lukewarm about 11/2 cup or more olive oil  3/4 cup For the topping ripe figs, cut in quarters  soft goat cheese , torn into pieces fresh rosemary needles or fresh thyme leaves, a small handful flaky sea salt Pitted green olives For the dough: Combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook. Add the lukewarm water and half the olive oil  and knead on medium-high speed for a few minutes until well combined.  If the dough is sticky, add more flour.  Transfer the dough to the countertop and continue kneading and punching  down with the hands for about  until you have a smooth and elastic ball of dough.  Place the dough back in the mixer bowl, cover with a  towel, and let rise in a warm place  for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size. When the dough has doubled in size, punch it down, take it out of the bowl, and knead for 1 minute.  Using your hands, stretch and spread dough on the prepared baking sheet.  Cover with a  towel and let rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes or until puffy. Using  your finger, punch  holes into the surface of the dough. Pour the remaining olive oil over the dough and into the holes. Spread the olives and figs (cut side up) over the focaccia and push them gently into the dough. Sprinkle with the the goat cheese pieces, rosemary or thyme, and a little flaky sea salt. 'Tis the season for everything pumpkin, for soothing comfort food, and warm sweaters. Today is the perfect day for this roasted Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Soup with leek and ginger! Velvety smooth, nutritious and delicious 😍 . . #recipe You can prepare this soup with either already roasted pumpkin and sweet potato or with raw. The same method is used for both but cooking time is different. Ingredients 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 small leek, finely chopped white part only  1 small1 pound pumpkin, or Butternut Squash 1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into 2 cm cubes (about 3/4 pound) 2 cups or more water or vegetable stock. Ginger, salt and  cayenne to taste Instructions ***Roasting the pumpkin 1.) Cut off top of pumpkin 2.) Cut pumpkin in half 3.) Scoop out seeds & pulp – save seeds for roasting if you’d like! 4.) Cut 2 pumpkin halves in half again, and continue until you have 8-16 small pieces  5.)Place pumpkin pieces face up or down on baking sheet.  No oil needed. 6.) Roast in oven on 375° for 45 min or until lightly browned. 7.)Remove pumpkin from oven and let cool so it’s comfortable to touch. 8.) Peel skin off, being careful not to waste any of the precious pumpkin! -Roast sweet potato cubes till tender -Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. - Cook the onion and leek for 3 minutes, or until soft. -Add the roasted pumpkin and sweet potato, and water or stock of choice. - Cover and bring to a boil. - Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 min. Per household demand, I made my #healthy #lowfat #airfriedchicken! Everyone asks me how I get it to look and taste exactly like #deepfried #chicken. As I taught the attendees at my #cookingclass at #williamssonoma—after cleaning, dry-seasoning or marinating and coating the chicken with flour and letting set for about ten minutes, pour a Tbsp. or so of extra-virgin #oliveoil in your (clean) hand and massage each coated piece all over, then place on a nonstick baking rack in your #airfryer. (I air-fry mine at 325 degrees uncovered for 45 minutes to an hour.)
